Who Is Al McMordie?
Al McMordie is the most honored technical sports handicapper in America. Over the last three decades, Big Al has 48 first place finishes in football, basketball, baseball and hockey; 207 Top 5 finishes; and 398 Top 10 finishes. Al is a featured handicapper at the most prestigious gambling web sites, and was a panellist on The Winning Edge and Proline Television shows from 2001 through 2010. He is also the owner and operator of one of the biggest sports services in the world, BigAl.com. Here you can find not only Big Al, but also household names like Jim Feist, Kyle Hunter, Matt Fargo and Wayne Root. What separates BigAL.com from all the other major handicapping sites on the Internet, is that Big Al takes a hands on approach, dealing directly with clients. Customers can call up any time of day and speak to Big Al himself.
The #1 All Time College Basketball Handicapper
Here at Capperreviews we choose to promote long term results, rather than short term success. If you want to know who’s hot over the last week, month or even for the calendar year, that information is clearly displayed on our leaderboards. When we decide to write a promotional piece, it normally features a handicapper that has proven to win year after year.
Big AL is our all time money leader with college basketball, and Kyle Hunter (Handicapper of the Decade) is right behind him in second place. Kyle is at the top of the leaderboards for 2022 (as of writing this on 16/11/2022), and Big Al is right behind him. It can’t be a coincidence that these two legendary college basketball handicappers are occupying the top two spots both this year, as well as ranking first and second all time.
The Best of the Rest
While Kyle Hunter and Big Al stand above the crowd, there are a few other names that show up again and again on the leaderboards. Doc’s Sports is not only third on the All Time list, but wouldn’t you know it if Doc’s is also third overall overall in 2022. Stephen Nover ranks in the Top 5 All Time, and he is also a Top 10 NCAAB handicapper in 2022.
If you have any questions about our handicappers, our leaderboards, or if there is anything we can help you find, please feel free to contact us and we will get back to you right away.

Nico Iamaleava's dispute with Tennessee over money resulted in him leaving the team to accept far less money at UCLA. When you consider the higher taxes in California, you really have to question the decision making of the Bruins new quarterback.

The Bears will be a home underdog versus Auburn in Week 1, despite the fact that the Tigers are coming off a 5-7 season. A few costly turnovers and bad bounces were likely the difference between 5-7 and a winning record and a bowl game for Auburn last year.
