Who is Tony Karpinski?
Tony is a 25 year veteran of the sports handicapping industry, widely considered one of the sharpest professional handicappers in America. He was introduced to the business when he was a junior in college back in the early 1990s. He was a multi-sport athlete and a business major at a Division III School in Pennsylvania when he was offered a bit of work on the side.
He took a part time gig updating score-phones and providing content for 1-900 numbers for companies based in Georgia and New York. Tony took this opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the business, gaining experience and establishing contacts with industry insiders. He worked as an oddsmaker for PicksPal.com between 2004-2007, before the company was sold for 9.5 Million to Liberty Media.
His work at PicksPal included setting the odds for major sports, creating game props, and Live in-game odds before they were offered by most of the sportsbooks. Tony also created sports contests and entertainment props for some of the big events for all users. PicksPal provided fans with a new take on the fantasy sports/league competitions for prizes.
Tony is independently documented with several contest wins at The Sports Monitor of Oklahoma, one of Americas most respected sports monitoring sites. He also has a Top 10 finish in the legendary Westgate Super Contest, several SportsNow contest wins on the Nationwide sports-pagers and used his odds knowledge and quick math to win a Mohegan Sun 25K Blackjack tournament upsetting professional gambler David Wong.
Vegas Top Dogs
Since 2008 Tony has run VegasTopDogs, which features some of the biggest names in the business. Industry legends such as Jim Feist, Joe D’Amico and Paul “Chip” Chirimbes are all featured on the Top Dogs site. More often than not though, a glance at the leaderboards will only confirm that Tony Karpinski is in fact the Top Dog.

Nico Iamaleava's dispute with Tennessee over money resulted in him leaving the team to accept far less money at UCLA. When you consider the higher taxes in California, you really have to question the decision making of the Bruins new quarterback.

The Bears will be a home underdog versus Auburn in Week 1, despite the fact that the Tigers are coming off a 5-7 season. A few costly turnovers and bad bounces were likely the difference between 5-7 and a winning record and a bowl game for Auburn last year.
