Meet Joe D’Amico, The Most Authentic Sports Handicapper on the Planet
Here at Capper Reviews we have written articles about the handicapper of the decade Kyle Hunter, the best NFL handicapper of 2021 Rocky Atkinson, the hottest female handicappers on the Internet and the best handicappers at #GamblingTwitter.
We don’t just do puff pieces though, we’ve also exposed the likes of Stu Feiner, who we called the most notorious scammer in sports handicapping, We have been critical of the likes of Darin Notaro who goes by the alias Steve Stevens, and of course Vegas Dave who we called the Dan Bilzerian of sports betting.
Now guys like Vegas Dave and Darin Notaro are prime examples of people pretending to be something they are not. Let us introduce you to a genuine professional handicapper, who is the real deal, and perhaps the most authentic personality in the sports betting industry.
Joe D’Amico is the host of Pro Football Forecast, and at first glance he might look similar to the characters we mentioned previously. Unlike Kyle Hunter, who we described as soft-spoken and mild-mannered, nobody has ever accused Joe of being quiet and shy, and maybe modest isn’t an adjective that best describes him.
While his fast-talking, bold and braggadocious style isn’t for everyone, we can assure you that Joe D’Amico doesn’t just talk the talk, he walks the walk. All his picks are documented not only here at Capper Reviews, but also at several other major handicapping websites. He lives in a luxurious home in the Las Vegas suburbs, and when he’s not handicapping sports he’s rubbing shoulders with rock stars like Bret Michaels and former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson. He’s not only known for being one of Vegas’ biggest daily sports bettors, he’s also well respected as one of the biggest winners.
Joe D’Amico was voted as one of Las Vegas’ Top-100 Most Influential People and #1 in Sports Gambling by the Las Vegas people as well as My Vegas Magazine. In 2017, the Las Vegas Icon starred in the documentary, “Now Place Your Bets,” a full feature big-screen film, co-starring, Baseball’s “Hit King,” Pete Rose, horse racing and NFL handicapping pioneer, Dennis Tobler, as well as a who’s who in sports gambling, explaining the popularity of sports bettings past, present, and future.
He is also affectionately known as “The Host of Last Vegas.” D’Amico is featured regularly as an analyst and handicapper in several publications such as the Las Vegas Review Journal, Las Vegas Sun, Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, and the Bloomberg News Report. In 2007, Joe bested nine other well-respected veteran cappers to win the prestigious Las Vegas Review Journal Handicapper’s Challenge.
The most accurate description of Joe D’Amico comes right from the horse’s mouth: “This isn’t what I do, this is who I am.”
