Drew Rasmussen (15-5, 2.72 ERA) vs. Max Fried (5-4, 2.63 ERA) .

Sometimes, these pitching matchups between two "aces" can turn into an offensive barrage. This time around, I'm expecting an absolute masterclass from both of these starters. Drew Rasmussen has had one of the most consistent seasons in recent memory for Tampa Bay. I'm shocked that he isn't even close to Schittler or even Cease for AL Cy Young. But, all the credit to him. He's been elite.

On the other hand, Cam Schlittler's partner in crime, Max Fried gets the nod. Injuries have kept Fried from pitching a full season. However, when he's been on the mound, he's been nearly un-hittable. Although he allowed three runs in that contest, Fried managed to pitch eight innings the last time he faced TB. Rasmussen seeks revenge after getting lit up last time vs. NYY. However, Drew went seven scoreless in his lone meeting here at Yankee Stadium. Hammer the "under."

Michael Soroka (8-5, 3.45 ERA) vs. Kyle Freeland (4-10, 6.38 ERA) .

Even though Arizona is probably going to finish as the final team out in the National League, there's still lots to play for against a divisional rival. The Diamondbacks have Michael Soroka on the bump here on Tuesday. In three outings against the Rockies this season, Soroka has pitched 16.0 innings while allowing just three runs.

On the other hand, Colorado will go with Kyle Freeland. I've been playing against Freeland lots this season and will continue it until the very end. His numbers just aren't good whatsoever & although he's been even worse on the road, his home splits aren't good either. Ultimately, this is a pitching mismatch + I believe that the Diamondbacks lineup will still be extra motivated - from both a winning standpoint plus a statistical standpoint, to finish the year on the right note.
