Yoshinobu Yamamoto (8-7, 2.77 ERA) vs. Robbie Ray (9-3, 2.63 ERA) .

Before yesterday, the Dodgers had lost seven consecutive games and we didn't know when the streak would end. Luckily, Ohtani was stellar on the mound once again and LA was able to hold onto its early lead. Today, Yamamoto gets the nod and I expect dominance from the Dodgers superstar. He's been a bit shaky recently. But, this is an opponent that he should be able to take advantage of in my opinion. He thrives in big spots.

On the other hand, I fully expect Robbie Ray's numbers to get worse as the season gets older. I'm not a big fan in the lefties abilities at this point and time in his career and I don't think that he'll be able to keep up these dominant looking stats. That being said, I've got the Dodgers dismantling the Giants in the finale of this series on Sunday afternoon. This is my #1 DIV. GAME OF THE YEAR.

Burns' Prediction: 6-2 Dodgers.

While PSG has looked dominant in both the UEFA Champions League and now the FIFA Club World Cup, I fully expect it to cap off its amazing season with another title. The French side are simply way too good for most teams on the ball and this game should prove to be no different. Paris St. Germain will have the majority of the ball and I expect goals from this team, just like we saw in the Champions League final.

While Chelsea did an outstanding job of even getting to this point in the tournament, I believe that it had the easiest path out of any team in the Club World Cup knockout stage. The level of competition that it's had to play is nowhere close to the level of teams that PSG has played. Yes, the addition of Liam Delap up top has been great, opening up scoring chances for other players as well. But, don't expect Chelsea to give PSG a run for its money in this one. Hammer the European champs.

If you guys remember, I had Alcaraz in the epic 5 hour and 29 minute war at Roland Garros just a month ago. Well, the #1 and #2 in the world meet once again in the finals of Wimbledon and I'm expecting more fireworks. This time around though, I'm taking the world #1.

Why? Well, as I mentioned in my, "Wimbledon 2025: Preview & Predictions" article prior to the tournament, "I am very high on Jannik Sinner coming in. The loss to Bublik will have given him lots of time to regroup and refocus to get ready for this tournament. Although it's been a while since his last win, he's beaten Alcaraz multiple times before and seems to be the only player that can challenge him. If they match up again in the finals (I believe that there's a pretty good chance,) this could be another epic war." Well, here we are.

Sinner has the mentality of someone that simply wants to win and I expect him to be mentally focussed and locked in for this match. Don't get me wrong, Alcaraz has that same mentality and wants to be the best and beat the best. However, the way Jannik played against Novak yesterday, I don't see him being stopped. If he gets a lead, there won't be any looking back this time.

This is Sinner's time to shine and these guys will go back and forth for a long time as some of the greats of the past watch on. This is my WIMBLEDON GAME OF THE YEAR on Sunday morning.
