Carlos Rodon (16-8, 3.11 ERA) vs. Simeon Woods-Richardson (6-4, 4.58 ERA) .

After losing last night in the Sunday Night game, the Yankees must bounce back on Monday. Although it's going to be tough to catch the Blue Jays now, staying ahead of Boston for home field advantage in the wild card series is going to be key at the very least for NYY. Carlos Rodon should definitely help New York's cause on Monday as he's been outstanding all season losing. Having won 16 games on the year, I expect a massive game once again for Rodon.

On the other hand, I'm not too high, as most people aren't, on the Twins right now. Even though Keaschall has been excellent since his debut just over a month ago, the Twins have been eliminated from contention for a while. Simeon Woods Richardson gets the nod this evening and he's been quite average. Don't get me wrong, I like the fact that he owns a winning record considering the overall record of Minnesota. However, this isn't a good matchup for someone with a 4.58 ERA and an inflated WHIP on the season. Give me NYY on Monday.

While a lot of people will probably like the Chargers in this game, after they picked the Chiefs a part last weekend, I believe that this is a great sport for the Raiders on Monday. LAC shocked everyone by slinging the rock around in that game a week ago. But, that's not the kind of football that I'm expecting to see from them this evening. The Chargers love to run the ball and will probably lean on Hampton a lot more considering that his debut is out of the way.

Looking at the Raiders, they looked very strong against the Patriots in week 1. Brock Bowers went down with an injury and is questionable for this game. I expect him to play. Even if he doesn't though, Geno has weapons and Jeanty looks strong. Last year, LA was able to win both meetings. Pete Caroll wants revenge from those games in his first season as the Head Coach. Getting three points against a division rival at home on Monday Night Football, this is a gift for the Raiders. Don't be shocked when LV wins outright.
