Lynx are a great defensive team. They play at the league’s slowest pace. Their games have gone under the total in 6 of their last 10 contests. Historically, the under has hit in 5 of the last 6 Sparks road games against the Lynx and 40 of the last 56 meetings between these teams. Minnesota’s defensive prowess and slow pace contrast with the Sparks’ tendency for high-scoring, turnover-heavy games. Expect the Lynx to dictate a slower pace and leverage their defense to limit the Sparks. We'll take the Under. Let's cash some tickets!
Tyler Glasnow is returning for his first start since being on the IL, a situation where pitchers often struggle to regain form, making him a prime candidate to fade. The Dodgers have been inconsistent, going 2-5 in their last seven games. Meanwhile, the Brewers have been the stronger team, particularly at home, where they’ve shown consistent performance. José Quintana is expected to deliver a solid outing, supported by a reliable bullpen. The Dodgers’ bullpen, however, has been shaky and could be heavily taxed if Glasnow falters early. Backing the home underdog Brewers offers value in this matchup.
The -16 spread is inflated given Seattle’s tendency to play down to weaker opponents and Connecticut’s historical success in this matchup (7-3 SU/ATS in last 10). While the Storm are the better team, their ninth-ranked pace and 1-5 ATS record against the Sun suggest they may not cover a large spread. The Sun’s abysmal form (2-16, 10-game skid) is a concern, but their ability to keep games competitive against Seattle, combined with the large point spread, makes them a viable underdog pick. We'll back the dog and sprinkle on the ML.
