My selection is on Los Angeles plus the points over Buffalo at 1 pm et on Sunday.
The Bills will look to improve to 3-0 SU and ATS as they host the reeling Chargers on Sunday in Orchard Park. Buffalo is obviously a high-profile Super Bowl contender on a yearly basis and it looks like bettors are flocking to it again in this spot. I don't think this result will be all that straight-forward, however. The Chargers will undoubtedly bring desperation into this matchup as they're off to a miserable 0-2 start, with both losses coming at home. They're certainly being punished in the betting marketplace for their disappointing start, too much so in my opinion. Remember, Los Angeles started last season 3-0 but that didn't end up taking it very far as it ultimately bowed out in the Wild Card round against New England. The Bills have had an extra few days to pat themselves on the back following a lopsided win over the Lions in their home opener a week ago Thursday. I don't think the extra rest means nearly as much at this early stage of the season. All is not lost for the Chargers here in 2026 and I expect them to put forth a much stronger effort against the Bills, ultimately taking this one down to the wire and covering the lofty pointspread. Take Los Angeles (8*).

N.L. East Underdog Game of the Year. My selection is on Miami over Atlanta at 7:10 pm et on Friday.
The Braves couldn't get up for the Reds, dropping two of three games in this series with the lone victory coming by the slimmest of margins in extra innings. Can you really blame them? They're already locked in to the top spot in the N.L. East and can't leapfrog any teams in the playoff pecking order. This weekend's series will be all about getting through without any more injuries, particularly to their pitching staff. They're undecided on a starter on Friday with Martin Perez hitting the I.L. Miami continues to play hard as it checks in 6-5 over its last 11 games, having won three of its last four series. It just took two of three games from the Cubs at Wrigley Field with the lone loss coming by a single run yesterday in a game where it fielded a 'B' lineup. Guys like Kyle Stowers and Griffin Conine should be back in the mix as the Marlins return home on Friday. Starter Eury Perez has admittedly struggled down the stretch. Of course, the Marlins are listed as the underdog here as a result so I think that's been factored in to the price. Perez does like pitching at home as he's 5-5 with a 3.45 ERA and 1.18 WHIP at Marlins Park compared to a 2-6 record with a 4.79 ERA and 1.35 WHIP on the road. Take Miami (10*).

He owns a business degree, with a major in finance, and is a member of the prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma honor society for business students and scholars. Although Sean took a circuitous route to become a professional handicapper, sports betting has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. In fact, he still fondly recalls his first successful venture into sports betting – a winning three-game NFL ‘Pro-Line’ parlay (offered by the Canadian lottery) when he was just 12 years old.
