This is a 10* PL GOY on the Flyers.

As primarily a situational capper, this is one that falls right into my wheelhouse.

I'm releasing this pick on Saturday, but Toronto will play after I do so. The Leafs have a big game at home against Boston, and I believe that fatigue will for sure be a factor in the second game of the back-to-back scenario for the home side.

Philly has been trading wins/losses over its last seven games, and off a 5-2 loss at Vegas, the Flyers will be looking to extend that streak here North of the border.

Note that this is in fact a great spot for Philly as well, which will return home after this to play the Leafs again.

Outright win?! Anything is possible, but in what should be a very competitive game, I'm going to lay the reasonable mid-sized price for the extra 1.5 goals of insurance.

This is a 10* AAC GOM on UNT.

North Texas is 10-3 after four straight SU victories after beating UAB 78-75 last time out. The Mean Green have dropped three straight ATS, but that's significant to note, because UNT is 7-3 ATS in its last ten after three or more ATS losses in a row.

Memphis is 11-3 after its 90-62 win at FAU, but now I feel it's getting too much respect here.

These teams match up really well. In fact, when they played last year UNT won 76-66 at home as a 1-point favorite.

In what I believe will be another competitive battle, but one that the visitors have a legit shot at winning outright, I will in the end recommend to grab as many points as you can.

The play is NORTH TEXAS.

This is a 10* TOTAL BK on the UNDER Pels/Wizards.

Both teams have been playing to several higher-scoring games of late, but everything in my opinion finally points to much more of a defensive battle here in the Nation's capital on Sunday night.

Just a great overall situational play in my opinion.

New Orleans just beat Washington 132-120 at home and got 50 points from CJ McCollum. Suffice it to say, I'm not expecting lightning to "strike twice" for the veteran here on Sunday night.

With the victory the Pels have now seen the total go OVER in six straight, but despite that note that New Orleans has STILL seen the total go UNDER the number in nine of their last 12 after playing to five or more straight OVERS in a row.

And note that Washington has seen the total dip below the posted number in eight of its last 12 in trying to avenge a SU/ATS road loss vs. an opponent.

With the majority quick to back another high-scoring game, we're going full-on contrarian here and expecting a much more defensive battle.

The play is the UNDER.

This is a 10* NFC NORTH TOM on the UNDER Bears/Packers.

Betting Week 18 in the National Football League is all about betting "situations" in my opinion.

You have to judge the motivation for each side.

I definitely don't see the Bears suddenly throwing a switch here and caring and trying to put points on the board, while ruining their positioning for the draft.

Chicago has lost ten straight. The Packers will lok to go up early, and then just cruise to victory here. I'm not sure they can cover this larger spread, but I definitely am expecting very few points to hit the board in this one.

Green Bay does need a win here to keep pace with Washington for positioning, but note that there's also snow in the forecast.

Look for the clock to run quickly and for this total to stay well UNDER the number once the final whistle sounds.

This is a 10* NFC EAST TOM on the UNDER Washington/Dallas.

Week 18 is all about betting great "situations" in my opinion. No need to overthink anything, I employ the "KISS" method most of the time (Keep It Simple Stupid!)

Washington has exceeded expectations this year. Rookie QB Jayden Daniels has exceeded expectations to this point as well. The Commanders clinched a playoff spot last week, and I'm predicting a natural letdown spot here.

The last thing the Commanders can afford to do here is put any of their key players in danger.

The Cowboys are off the 41-7 loss at Philly last week, and Dallas has seen the total go OVER in three straight. Note though that looking back the Boys have seen the total go UNDER in eight of their last 12 after playing to three or more straight OVERS in a row.

Everything points to this one being decided by field position and the men in the trenches and because of that, I'm on the UNDER.

This is a 10* AFC EAST GOY on the Bills moneyline.

Betting Week 18, for the most part, is about betting great "situations" I have found.

And that's the case for this one. No need to overthink it.

The Patriots have the No. 1 pick in the draft and won't want to jeopardize that position with a victory here.

Buffalo punched its ticket to the playoffs with last week's 40-14 win over the Jets and it's won three straight.

But despite the backups seeing most of the time here, the Bills will still want to go into the postseason on a positive note and New England absolutely has ever reason to just "go through the mostions."

Let's bypass the spread option and instead take BUFFALO to win this game STRAIGHT UP on the MONEYLINE.

This is a 10* NFC NORTH GOY on the Vikes.

Minnesota is 14-2 and it plays with revenge after falling 31-29 at home to Detroit on October 20th as a 1-point favorite.

Note that the Vikes are 7-3 ATS in their last ten in trying to avenge a SU/ATS divisional road loss vs. an opponent.

Detroit is off back-to-back road wins/covers, but the last time it was here it fell 48-42 to Buffalo as a 2.5-point favorite. And the game before that? A 34-31 win over Green Bay at home, but unable to cover the 3.5-point spread.

And previous to that it was a nail-biting 23-20 home win over Chicago as a ten-point favorite.

The Lions have consistently been overvalued at home this year by the oddsmakers, and that's once again the case on Sunday as well in my opinion.

The VIKINGS are playing well enough to win this game outright, but the official call is to grab as many points as you can.
