This is an 8* BIG-CHALK CHOKE-OUT on the Jays on the runline.
I'm going to lay the larger price and gladly put that extra 1.5 runs in my back pocket.
The Jays are 5-2 and the Mets are 3-3 after two series.
Toronto comes in with a ton of momentum after sweeping the Nationals in its last series. Starter Kevin Gausman is already 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA this year after going six and allowing two runs and striking out four against Baltimore. He got out to a bad start last season and it took him the entire year to get back on track, so this is good news for Jays fans to see Gausman avoid that this year out of the gates.
Tyler Megill counters for the home side, and he's 1-0 with a 1.80 ERA after a win against Houston to open 2025.
I think the Jays have a shot at winning this one outright, but in the end look for Gausman to, at the very least, keep this one competitive here against the Mets in their home opener.
The play is TORONTO on the RUNLINE option.
Good luck, NP
This is an 8* TOTAL PUNISHER on the OVER Rays/Rangers.
Both teams have gotten out to winning starts to the season, thanks in part to great pitching.
But now I'm anticipating a bit of a "slug-fest" here in Texas in the opener of this series.
The Rays' Zack Littell is 0-2 with a 9.82 ERA in two appearances vs. the Rangers.
The home side counters with Tyler Mahle, who already owns a poor 5.40 ERA this season after one appearance.
While each side has played to several lower-scoring affairs to open the season, everything finally points to more of a "slug-fest" here on Friday in my opinion.
This number is low, the play is the OVER.
Good luck, NP
This is a 10* BOOKIEKILLER on the Rockets.
I think the Thunder's 11-game win streak is in jeopardy here. After this, they return home for two straight games against the Lakers, and I believe that not only does the visiting side have a letdown, but it also gets caught looking ahead.
It's a trap for the visitors, and an opportunity for the revenge-minded home side.
Houston lost 137-128 at Oklahoma City a month ago.
The Rockets have won four of their last five and are off a big 143-105 win over Utah.
While the outright is possible, the official call is to grab as many points as you can with HOUSTON.
Good luck, NP
