Both teams have the offensive talent necessary to produce a high-scoring contest Wednesday night. Milwaukee will look to attack the paint and create scoring opportunities in transition, while Boston should find success moving the basketball and generating quality perimeter looks. The Celtics have multiple players capable of scoring in bunches, and Milwaukee's ability to get downhill could create plenty of trips to the free-throw line. Neither team will want to give up easy opportunities, but the offensive talent on both sides should create enough scoring chances to keep the scoreboard moving. Expect a competitive matchup with consistent offensive production.

On defense, the Cavaliers allow 116.1 points per game. This places them 23rd in the league. They have room to improve in this area. Defensively, the Thunder allow 107.7 points per game, ranking them 7th. They hold opponents to a 43.3% field goal percentage, which is 4th best in the league. Five of the Cavaliers’ last six games against the Thunder following a home loss have gone UNDER the total points line.

Neither club has been particularly trustworthy, but San Jose’s scoring drought gives Los Angeles an opportunity to take control without needing its best offensive performance. The Sharks have managed only five goals in their last four games, losing three of them. That’s a tough way to make a living on the road, especially against an opponent that has shown it can generate offense when its top players get involved.

The Eagles had a good Ohio team on the ropes late in their most recent road loss but couldn’t close the game out. Eastern Michigan had 307 total yards and 18 first downs in that one but also went just 2-of-15 on third downs. Defensively the Eagles were good on third downs (3-of-11) and ha a couple of fumble recoveries. Eastern Michigan has been pretty tepid on the scoreboard in the last couple of games with just 34 combined points. As for Central Michigan, they posted just 16 first downs and went 6-of-14 on third downs in their loss to Miami-OH. The 10 penalties for 83 yards didn’t help either. The Chippewas have given up 21 or more points in three straight games (all losses) so EMU should have some room to score if they can get it going.
