I like the Lakers to cover this spread on the road against the Pelicans. Both teams are playing on a back to back however I see a huge letdown spot for the Pels after a big win against the Nuggets. The Pels have lost 4 of their L5 games and I see them going back to their losing ways after that huge win last night. The Lakers are on a tear winning 4 in a row and scoring 116+ in each game. The Lakers offense is meshing excellent and I look for them to continue playing like they are. The Lakers rank 5th in Offensive Rating and the Pels sit way down at 27th in defensive rating. I don't expect much defense but I do expect the Lakers to pull away late. The Pels are 0-6 ATS this season after playing a home game. Lay it with the Lakers here. -Joey Tron

I like Nevada to cover this spread at home against Santa Clara. Nevada is off to the races to start the season and Santa Clara has fallen back to back games where they were a clear favorite. Nevada has scored 85+ in 2 of their first 3 games and their defense has been electric. Nevada ranks 45th in offensive efficiency and are lethal from 3PT shooting 49% giving them a huge advantage here. Santa Clara offense is NOT good and in fact will have trouble moving the ball today. They are dependent upon scoring in the paint however Nevada has BIG height advantage and will not make driving in easy. NEV is 13-6 ATS as a home favorite since 2024 and Santa Clara is 0-3 ATS against the Mountain West in the same time. Lay the points with Nevada. -Joey Tron

I like this game between Indiana and South Carolina to stay UNDER. Both of these teams are having their first true tests this season and defense should prevail here. Indiana ranks 26th in defensive efficiency while South Carolina sits ranked 44th. The Hoosiers defense has been great this season and are holding teams to just a 40% eFG and have one of the best FT defenses in the nation. The Gamecocks are holding teams to a 41% eFG and have a STRONG presence down low where Indiana strives. Look for both teams to play STRONG in the paint and force perimeter shots where neither have found their stride yet. IU is 9-6 to the under at home when the total is 140 to 149.5 and SC is 6-4 to the under in road games. Play the UNDER here. -Joey Tron

I like the Oilers to win this game on the road against the Leafs. The Oilers are playing excellent hockey and I give them the edge here over the Leafs. The Oilers have won 3 straight scoring 14 goals in the process defensively have not allowed more than 3 goals in this span. The Leafs are playing good hockey winning 4 of their L5 however 3 of those wins come against teams that were under .500 when they played. I see a let down spot here as the Oilers not only have the better offense in this contest, but they are the faster team who is averaging 33 SOG per game and can generate scoring chances on the fly. EDM is 24-14 off a home win since 2024 and TOR is 3-4 as a home dog in the same time. Take the Oilers here. -Joey Tron

I like the Devils to win this game on the road against the Lightning. The Devils are on a tear right now and I do not see Tampa stopping them. The Devils have won 5 of their L6 games scoring 3+ in every win. The Lightning just trounced Winnipeg 4-1 and I see this as a huge let down spot for them. The Lightning are ranked 21st on the PK and are averaging nearly 10 PIMs per game - The Devils have one of the best Power Plays scoring on 30% of chances and have the 7th best shooting % in the league. NJD is 18-9 as a road favorite since 2024 and TBL is 7-13 in November games in the same span. Play the Devils here. -Joey Tron

I like this game between LSU and Florida to go OVER the total. LSU has now falling back to back games allowing an average of 40 PPG in those contests & the Florida Gators have also lost back to back allowing 41.5 PPG. Florida is still fighting for a shot to be bowl eligible with 3 games remaining and it starts with an offensive showing tonight. The Florida passing offense has an advantage over this LSU secondary that has been getting torched and UF should be able to get some aerial threats down field. The LSU offense stalled out last week and I expect a big showing this week against a downward trending Gators squad. LSU is 6-2 to the over as road fav since 2023 & UF is 3-1 to the over at home when the total is between 49.5 and 56since 2023. Play the OVER here. -Joey Tron

I like this game between Georgia and Tennessee to stay UNDER. These are two great defenses and I expect both to come up big here. The Vols have a phenomenal defense ranking 17th in total yards allowed and are holding teams to 24% on 3rd down. Getting the Georgia offense off the field here is imperative. The Georgia defense similarly is holding teams to 28% on 3rd downs and will give this Tennessee offense a hard time moving the ball. TENN is 4-2 to the under off a home win since 2023 & UGA is 6-4 to the under as a home fav since 2023. Play the UNDER here. -Joey Tron
