The Los Angeles Dodgers are 67–38 and 36–19 on the road. The Dodgers have won six of the team’s last eight games. The New York Mets are 43–62 overall and 21–30 at home. New York has lost four of its last five games, including an 8–3 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers five days ago. Los Angeles will go with Emmet Sheehan in this contest. He is 4–7 with a 5.13 ERA, a 1.27 WHIP, and 99 strikeouts. He has allowed six or more earned runs in two of his last five starts. The Mets counter with Freddy Peralta. He is 5–9 with a 5.01 ERA, a 1.46 WHIP, and 110 strikeouts in 109.2 innings pitched. He has allowed five or more earned runs in two of his last four starts. Neither pitcher has been great lately. I will take the Dodgers offense, especially with the loss of Soto's bat for the Mets.
