#966 ASA TOP PLAY ON Boston Red Sox -115 over Toronto Blue Jays, Saturday at 4:10 PM ET - The Red Sox won again yesterday and they remain on fire as their run is now 16-1 and, going a little further back, 21-3 for an 88% winning rate over the past 30 days! Toronto has a good bullpen but Boston's is even better. The Blue Jays have a strong starter going today but the Red Sox starter has been even better. Combining all that with home field edge and you have a great spot here. Another big edge here is at the plate as well as Boston's slugging percentage ranks 3rd in the American League the last 30 days while the Blue Jays slugging percentage ranks dead last. Since the All-Star break the Red Sox are scoring an average of 6 runs per game and the Jays are scoring an average of only 2 runs per game. Toronto starter Dylan Cease has good numbers this season but he has struggled in 2 of his last 4 starts including his most recent one. In those 2 outings he allowed 9 runs (7 earned) in 10 and 2/3 innings. Boston's Sonny Gray has been phenomenal this season with a 12-1 record and a 2.48 ERA. Also Gray is 10-0 with a 1.94 ERA since the start of May! With how hot Gray is plus how hot this Boston team is, we take advantage of getting a low line here. We understand the low number as it is because Cease has good numbers this season too but this is a strong top play value that is too good to pass up.
